The Challenge
With the 2022 Football World Cup on the horizon, Telecentro faced the challenge of crafting an advertising campaign that would let Argentines experience the thrill of the World Cup from their homes. The company is known for its agility in decision-making and technology integration, including features like Alexa-enabled 4K decoders with Bang & Olufsen speakers and 1000mb speed. Our task was to leverage these differentiators to position Telecentro as a market co-leader, creating a campaign that made every Argentine feel like they were in Qatar.
The Dandy Approach
Our creative team developed the concept ‘With Telecentro, your house is the headquarters.’ We aimed to immerse every Argentine in the World Cup experience from their living rooms. We executed a comprehensive 360° advertising campaign across all media platforms, incorporating humor to capture the World Cup spirit at home. Our campaign featured memorable elements like a grandstand armchair, a turnstile for entering the house, fans arriving by bus, a sports journalist in the living room, and even the mascot that wasn’t chosen. The result? We successfully brought the excitement of the World Cup into every Argentine home, thanks to Telecentro.
